In a friendly, relaxed atmosphere Frédéric will accompany you on visits to vineyards and will take you along the lavender route to visit a lavender farm and distillery. A trip to an ancient olive mill will also be on the agenda.
Lunches and dinners will be at local restaurants and there will be a wine dinner on your first evening at the Château de Ribiers, where you will be staying. You will also have some free time to explore local markets, villages and other points of interest, such as the Gorges de la Méouge.
A typical “Classic Trip” itinerary: (We offer varied itineraries)
Day 1 Welcome at the airport. Visit the Domaine de la Brillane vineyard at Couteron, Aix-en-Provence.
pm: Wine dinner at the Château de Ribiers
Day 2 am: Visit to the beautiful Mediterranean fishing port of Cassis, where you will have lunch on the quayside
pm: Visit to a vineyard in Bandol, with free time in the famous village of La Cadière
Dinner at “Le Fournil” in Ribiers.
Day 3 am: Visit the historic town & ancient citadel of Sisteron, then on to a “ferme-auberge” for lunch, where nearly everything served at table is raised or grown by your hosts.
pm: Visit to a lavender farm and distillery.
Buffet Supper at Le Château de Ribiers
Day 4 am: To the busy and colourful Provencal market at Forcalquier, then on to the village of Banon, famous for its goats’ cheese, its ancient château and its spectacular bookshop.
pm: Visit to a traditional family-run olive oil mill. Return via the ancient hilltop village of Lurs.
Dinner at “L’Araignée Gourmande” at Laragne-Montéglin.
How to book
All our trips require a minimum group size of 6 people (10 people max.) and prices are
based on two people sharing a room
1. Choose between a Classic Trip (see typical itinerary) or a Gastronomic Trip (similar itinerary but with greater emphasis on your food and wine experience. Prices below.

3. Make your own fly/drive booking to Marseille Marignane airport. It is essential that you arrange your own travel & holiday insurance and bookings are only accepted on this understanding. (NB. Flights & insurance will be at your own expense).
4. Send your payment by cheque in pounds sterling, made out to “Sally Cameron”, using the rate of exchange on the day. (It is also possible to pay in Euros).
Classic Trip: 340 euros per person for 3 nights, or 430 euros per person for 4 nights.
Gastronomic Trip: 510 euros per person for 3 nights, or 600 euros per person for 4 nights.
(30 euros supplement per night for single occupancy).
